Book Raps - What are they? Why?

Book Raps -  Contributed by Rebecca Murray

Book raps are opportunities for classes to enroll and participate in an online discussion on a nominated topic or book. These book discussion groups are conducted electronically by email and provide an opportunity for teachers and students to share responses and ideas with other schools. Typically lasting between 6-8 weeks, participants must subscribe to the ?list? and read, discuss and respond to a number of rap points.
